Alan Woodard

"After quiting a band I had been playing in a couple of years earlier, I had been searching for something to fill a void inside of me. I had been cooking and smoking foods for several years and I knew I could make good Q. It wasn't until I saw a show on Food Network on the BBQ circuit that I had that revelation that 'Hey, you know, I could do that, and I really want to do that.' Ever since I have found it every bit as fulfilling as playing music... if not more. Every time we cook on the circuit it's a learning experience and I look forward to traveling to the next event as soon as we leave the previous."

April Woodard

" I always wanted to cater and in 1989 I catered for a church in California for two years and then I moved to Tennessee. With Alan and my love for the outdoors, grilling and cooking food it was inevitable that we start a cooking team."

" I'm known as the PR chick and always love to meet and talk to other teams and people walking around the cookoffs trying to get an understanding of what's going on. Anytime you see us feel free to stop by, grab a bite to eat and chat, the tiki bar is always open!

Marc Rudzinski

"I hooked up with Alan and April in a previous team and cooked off and on with them in 2003, from then on I have been hooked on the BBQ circuit."

Marc has been cooking professional for 10 plus years in the food industry. After the previous team fizzled out Marc joined April and Alan in May of 2004 and Lawrenceburg,Tn. was the first event for all in June of the same year.
